We believe in enabling quality and accessible education for all, be it aspirants in remote locations, bad connectivity, or with lack of disposable funds. We believe taking regular mock tests gives a strong indication to aspirants regarding their level of preparation and standing amongst their peers, and gives a strong direction to aspirants in how to unlock the best of their capabilities. This has been the secret to success of the founders of the App, who have cracked IIT-JEE, IIM-CAT and UPSC, the most difficult competitive exams in the largest nation of the world – India. With Mocit, we would like to make this key to success enabled to everyone. Mocit is best used as a companion to your existing study material and Coaching classes.

Admissions for professional higher education and recruitment for government jobs in India is done through competitive examinations. Aspirants prepare themselves through self study and/ or by joining coaching institutions/ study groups. They also join, where available, mock test series to evaluate their preparedness and readiness for the examination and to benchmark themselves against their peers in the coaching institution/ test series. But it doesn’t help them to get a realistic assessment of their standing compared to the larger group of aspirants that include candidates, who are doing self study or enrolled in other coaching institution/ test series/ study groups. Absence of coaching institutions in smaller cities and expenses involved in joining test series may also preclude many of them from assessing their preparedness. Furthermore, most of the mock tests do not simulate the test conditions.

Mocit aims to offer a free platform for simulated mock test contest among all interested aspirants at periodic intervals at specified time and date as a rehearsal for the real examination. It will strive to simulate the test conditions & be self-invigilated. The platform will be free for all aspirants to register, appear in the mocit tests and get basic results. Detailed analysis of the performance and analysis of the questions & answers will be provided on payment of nominal fee. This will represent a realistic assessment of their preparedness (very close approximation to national rank/ percentile), strengths and weaknesses as compared to other aspirants, as well as progress made in the preparation compared to their own previous performance.
